1. In a large pot, simmer tomatoes, onions, bay leaf, clove, and one cup of water for 20 minutes.
2. Remove bay leaf and clove, and puree tomatoes throughly.You may want filter soup through a sieve to remove tomato pulp.
3. Add two cups of milk, sugar, hot sauce, and salt. Add cornstarch to half cup of milk and blend thoroughly. Then add to soup.
